Chemical treatments can damage hair before you’re able to begin practicing on your mannequin. We use this lightening process to achieve a range of colors without compromising the gentleness of the hair. Some items are not recommended for future lightening based on their tone. We recommend viewing our website where these warnings would be listed. Our color levels are listed by tone because each color brand’s levels may vary.
To achieve varying texture, our mannequins undergo a steaming process instead of chemical treatments which helps not to damage the hair. Each mannequin is steamed with varying rod diameters to achieve the desired texture. The “mm” listed under each product will indicate the rod diameter.
Other hair manufactures may measure their mannequins directly on the head from front to back, indicating one length in total—not providing a true measurement on how long the hair actually is. In our product listings, you’ll find two numbers—one indicating the measurement from the front of the head and the second from the nape.
