Top quality, sturdy and inspires control and confidence using it. All the bells and whistles without clutter. My favorite feature is the 360 degrees top swivel with locking mechanism. The mercury bezel is a nice touch making sure that your tripod is leveled in addition to the numbered feet extensions that makes it extra easy for leveling. Love it.

I’ve used Pivot Point tripods for many, many years. This model is really great with the swivel base to rotate the head easily and the telescopic legs that never break. There are little spikes hidden in the rubber feet when you need more traction on soft surfaces. The carrying case zippers are durable and it easily fits in the airplane overhead bin! All other imitators products are just that, none compare to real Pivot Point tools! Invest in quality tools and they will last a long time.

I don’t own one, but I’ve had the opportunity to use one on three different occasions. First of all, they are well-crafted. Based on just using it, they’re lightweight. They have the levelers built in, and the legs extend. It has a rubber on the bottom, so it really stays in place during its use. Through doing the demonstrations for the chemical relaxing process, the permanent waving process, and blow drying, well, I’ll put it like this. I always had control of the mannequin head with ease thanks to the tripod’s stability. These tripods are phenomenal. I know many people look at the price of these and say, “I can get one on Amazon for a fraction of the price,” and I’ve had six mannequin stands. Trust me, this is the one you should purchase. I also forgot to mention that I’m a traveling educator, and this tripod comes with a well-constructed travel bag. Like I said, the stand is the truth, it’s Amazing!!
