My Amber mannequin was good until i went to shampoo her hair and the hair got extremely tangled to where it became ratted, but she and awesome choice for students as i was a student in beauty school when purchasing her. I didn’t color her but she was good for hair braiding natural hair styling and more

Let me tell you about MS. Amber…(warning long post)
She was given to me as a gift and I instantly fell in love. I’m practicing my braiding so I the fact it was a texture mannequin really made me fall in love.
And then came time for the wash…OMG!!!!
Ms.Amber tangled up on me something terrible!!
The knots took a while to get out, and I ended up pulling a lot of the hair out due to the tangles. But I wasn’t giving up on Amber just yet. I purchased another one because I still was in love with the product, and of course the fear of water touching it was still traumatizing me. But what really helped was detangling the hair, sectioning it off to then twist it, and then washing is gently but enough to get out whatever product you applied. And this made the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE. Her hair came out of the twist easily along with a detangler of your choice, and shedding was low to none. Overall This is a great product and you will love MS. Amber!!
