We continuously push to further diversify our leadership, workforce, vendor base, client base and product lines to represent and celebrate our world. “Making a difference” happens when we, as a trusted, diverse organization, extend our values through our content and products to our diverse client base—beauty industry schools, educators, learners and professionals.

Pivot Point continues our commitment to a more equitable world by providing tools and inspiration to support diversity and inclusion across our industry. The cultivation of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the beauty and wellness industry starts in the classroom. How an instructor teaches a class is important and influences how well learners absorb these concepts. It’s also essential to have the proper educational resources to drive those points home.

Pivot Point is committed to recognizing and supporting diversity in our industry by providing the tools necessary to do so. These include an industry-specific DEI-B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) guide for beauty schools, special mannequins to help beauty schools more effectively teach texture, adding additional texture content to our learning platform and launching a competition that gives students and their instructor’s professional industry recognition for their texture designs.
