Intercoiffure and Pivot Point Launch 2026 Student Contest Celebrating The Tapestry of Texture

Intercoiffure, the prestigious global network of top-tier salons, has officially opened entries for its 2026 Student Contest—an annual competition that shines a spotlight on creativity, education, and social responsibility in the beauty industry. This year’s theme: The Tapestry of Texture.

Presented in partnership with Pivot Point, a leader in beauty education, the contest invites students from accredited public and private beauty schools to showcase their passion and artistry for hair texture.

To enter, students must submit a mobile-shot video (30 seconds or less) by June 15, answering the prompt:

“As a future professional, what makes the texture hair category exciting to you?”

Finalists will then team up with a chosen instructor to bring their vision to life. All contestants will be using Pivot Point mannequins.

The winning student and their instructor will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City, where they will be honored on stage at the Intercoiffure Fall Atelier, held October 3–6.

This contest not only highlights technical skill but also celebrates mentorship, artistry, and the transformative power of education.
